I am a postdoctoral scholar of the Department of Earth Science at Rice University, Texas, working with Helge Gonnermann. I'm also actually invited researcher at the Earth and Environmental Sciences department at University of Michigan, Michigan.

My main research focuses on how magma degassing controls the dynamics of volcanic eruptions.

My research currently involves the study of volatiles diffusion in volcanic glass, the collection and textural and chemical analyses of volcanic samples, and the numerical modeling of degassing processes during explosive eruptions.

I also studied the formation and propagation of tsunamis triggered by volcanic debris avalanches, using an approach by numerical modeling, during my master and first postdoc.

My research necessites the use of different approaches, methods and tools.
